“Finding out about the Military Housing Assistance Fund program was one of the best things provided for veterans that I’ve heard about in a long time. I recently got a new job in a different state and had to relocate myself and family, and wanted to buy a home instead of renting. The program made everything simple and we had wonderful people assisting us every step of the way. The people working for the lending company were very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had about the process. The real estate agent went over and above what I ever expected from an agent, all the way down to bringing us a gift basket with treats and gift card for Lowe’s! Without assistance from everyone involved with the MHAF program I don’t think things would have gone nearly as smoothly. We were able to move out of our old house right into our new home and have not had any regrets about our decision. Thanks MHAF!”

We Thought Getting a Home Would Be Impossible

Thank you for all you’ve done to help us get this new home for my family. My MHAF team including Michael, Nicole, sonia and Jessie did what I thought would be impossible.

After my first short sale and with a lesser than desired credit score, we thought getting a home would be impossible.

To add to the challenge, we had a deadline to move out of our expired lease apartment.

Sonia and Jessie did a great job at explaining the process of searching for a home in this market. Believe it or not, We were able to purchase the only house we felt in love with. This was the first property we look at and the only one we felt right with.

Michael and his team helped us navigate through the finance problem that we had and showed us how to fix our credit to get a pre-approved loan before we begin to look for the house. They did a great job at pushing the loan package after we identify an approve bid. The main challenge was closing before we had to move out of our apartment and they did it.

It was fate that I ran into you almost two years ago, who knew it ended up getting our dream home now.

Thank you to you and MHAF for making this possible. Thank you for your support to the veteran community. Now that I know this program works, I will definitely share this experience with my fellow veterans.
